Board of Supervisors - District 2
The 2nd Supervisorial District includes all of the cities of Petaluma and Cotati and a portion of Rohnert Park, as well as the unincorporated communities of Penngrove, Two Rock, Bloomfield, and a portion of the unincorporated community south of Sebastopol.
Much of the dairy industry is located in the 2nd district, as well as a large portion of the San Pablo Bay frontage.

Penngrove Traffic Study
Sonoma County’s Department of Public Infrastructure released the report on traffic in Penngrove, the first step in implementing improvements and safety measures in response to the increased congestion in the southern Sonoma County area. Supervisor David Rabbitt, and Public Infrastructure staff presented the final Penngrove Area Traffic Study and Old Redwood intersection improvement projects at a Community Town Hall on August 13, 2025.

Sonoma County reports $857.6 million in agricultural production for 2024; highlights resilience of poultry producers, shifts in grape and apple markets
Sonoma County’s agricultural production reached a total value of $857,620,400 in 2024, a 9.3 percent decrease from the previous year, according to the annual Crop Report released today by the Sonoma County Department of Agriculture/Weights & Measures.
