Sonoma County to host community meetings on Emergency Operations Plan
SANTA ROSA, CA | July 17, 2025
The Sonoma County Department of Emergency Management is updating the County’s Emergency Operations Plan and is seeking public feedback. The County will host in-person community meetings in each of the five supervisorial districts as well as a countywide virtual meeting.
- Wednesday, Aug. 6 from 6 to 7 p.m., 16390 Main Street, Guerneville. Sign up for the event in English here and in Spanish here.

The Sonoma County Emergency Operations Plan provides high-level guidance to the County and its partners in responding to all emergencies – including wildfires and floods. The plan covers preparedness, response, recovery and disaster mitigation. It was last updated in 2022, and you can read the previous version of the plan here.
