Sonoma County to host community meetings on Emergency Operations Plan

The Sonoma County Department of Emergency Management is updating the County’s Emergency Operations Plan and is seeking public feedback. The County will host in-person community meetings in each of the five supervisorial districts as well as a countywide virtual meeting. 

• Wednesday, Aug. 6 from 6 to 7 p.m., 16390 Main Street, Guerneville. Sign up for the event in English here and in Spanish here.

• Tuesday, Aug. 12 from 6 to 7 p.m., 21 Bluebird Drive, Windsor. Sign up for the event in English here and in Spanish here. 
• Thursday, Aug. 14 from 6 to 7 p.m., 3642 Standish Ave., Santa Rosa. Sign up for the event in English here in Spanish here.

The Sonoma County Emergency Operations Plan provides high-level guidance to the County and its partners in responding to all emergencies – including wildfires and floods. The plan covers preparedness, response, recovery and disaster mitigation. It was last updated in 2022, and you can read the previous version of the plan here.
